“What is our study motivation?”

“What is our study motivation?” This question was quite interesting to think about. The fundamental question. What is our study motivation? What is the motive behind all our study activities? Are our motivations of study  just for getting our bachelor or diploma degrees?

There are many reasons provide to join in university. And I have too. Basically, there are three reasons,  why i am studying at university right now. First, the material motivation. Every people need matery especially money to survive in this cruel era. Good mark is also values which is included to the matery. Academic title to get better job is also a matery. So, I do. But, if I stop in this  values. My life is too narrow-minded. Actually, I need matery but not my highest motivation.

Second, the humanity motivation. Mostly of us wanna be a useful person that unmeasurable by matery. Help who need and who unlucky to be educated like us. Being useful to the society by contribute and apply our knowledges is the higher motivation then material motivation. So, I do,

But, the highest one is Allah’s reward motivation. Allah’s rewards must be the highest motivation not just in our study but also in all activities we do. Because, if we put our motivation in matery, after we finished our study, we graduated by many expectations of prestiges job, high salary and many joyful ways. Then, if we fail so bad. And we do not get what we had been expecting before. We will upset, disappoint and angry to the our past education. We want not to study anymore. The opposite of it, if we got we want, be a rich person, can do anything what we want to do, so what next?

Besides it, if we stop at humanity motivation. How if no one appreciate what we have done? No one say that we are meaningful enough? It’s very hurt. Really painful.

Then, we need the higher motivation that would make us really survive to do what we want in this cruel life. By having this motivation, we would not stop to learn when we failed in our jobs, we would not be angry and disappoint when people lack in giving appreciation of us. Because, the highest motivation of our study is not between we and the marks, the matery, the social attention. Our study is our business with Allah. Our achievement is for getting Allah’s reward. Study is one activity that rewardable. How if we lack in our study mark? Have to repeat some subjects? As long as we did it best during the study period. So, once more time, do not be sad, study is our business with our God. The more we study, the more we work, the more we contribute,  the more reward we get. Simple.

My short term goals : I am Fakhirah Inayaturrobbaniy, has got 550 in Toefl IBT in this 10^th of December 2013 or soon, has followed 5 International Seminar in October up to December 2013, has prepared well my online shop at 10^th November 2013, had joined the IPF apprentice at 10^th October 2013 happily.

My long term goals : I am Fakhirah Inayaturrobbany had graduated with GPA 3.5 or more in 10^th April 2016 or soon, had followed an student exchange program or summer course at least a time in the second second semester or soon. Had been an active member in IP Buddy and IP chat next semester or soon happily. Had a profitable business. Amin.
